Here we are 2 weeks in to a long season having played 2 games poles apart. First up we inflicted a 50+ goal beating on Callington Eagles, and while I was impressed with how the boys went about it, it was hard to gauge where we are.
On Saturday we travelled to Mount Torrens to play premiership favourite Torrens Valley. We started well and were reasonably competitive for 3 quarters, but in the end it was a 10 goal defeat. The endeavour of the players was unquestioned, but errors and
turnovers cost us in the end. There was some very promising signs and we look forward with confidence.
We are looking forward to the return of Tom Lipetri (overseas), Tim Bean, Dallas Crowe, Josh Crowe, Nathan Davey, and Jamie Talbot (all injured), which will bolster the ranks in both senior grades.
